About Me

I have always loved art and anything creative, including writing and music.

I currently teach art and photography courses at a local high school. I graduated from Maryville College in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Art with teacher licensure, and since then, have added a Master's Degree in Instructional Design. I have taught art to students of all ages from kindergarten to high school and have led group instruction for adults.

In my time outside of the public school setting, I love to use my camera as a tool to create abstract, fine art images and beautiful portraits to suit the style of my clients. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of photography genres and would love to work with you for your creative vision and expression.

Located in Maryville, TN at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, we have both awe inspiring nature scenery and vivid cityscapes to use for unique backdrops. I can also shoot at your location of choice or in a studio environment.
